“Climate controlled” is easy to write. The useful question is what is actually being controlled.
At Equerry 55, humidity is targeted at about 55 percent relative humidity. Through winter, temperature is managed around ten to twelve degrees Celsius. Those are targets for the building, not a more costly storage plan.
The Stable and The Keep use the same controlled environment. The difference between them is the level of care given to the car, not the quality of the air around it.

Your car does not get a generic storage routine
Before storage, the car itself comes first: make, model, year, road legal status, how long it will stay and any maker guidance that affects how it should be kept.
Battery conditioning, tyre pressures, parking brake use, fuel level and how the car should be moved can differ from one car to the next.
Where clear guidance exists, we use it before the car is prepared for storage. The process follows the car rather than forcing every car into one routine.

What matters while a supercar is stored
A clear check in
Condition photos, mileage, tyre pressures and fluid levels are recorded when the vehicle arrives.
Battery care
Modern supercars can have steady electrical demand from alarms, trackers and control systems. Battery conditioning is included on every storage plan.
Tyre care
Wide, low profile tyres can be more prone to temporary flat spotting during longer stays. Tyre pressures are recorded at check in and checked monthly on The Keep. TyreDox support is also included on The Keep.
Controlled air
Humidity is managed to a target of fifty five percent relative humidity, with winter temperature protection around ten to twelve degrees Celsius.
Privacy
The storage address is not publicly advertised and access is controlled. Visits are by appointment and keys are stored separately from the vehicle.
Clear approval
No outside work is carried out without prior agreement. Extra work and transport are quoted separately before anything is booked.

Condition is recorded, not remembered
Every storage term starts with a written record. Condition photos, mileage, tyre pressures and fluid levels are recorded at check in before the car is prepared for indoor storage.
Battery conditioning is connected, a breathable indoor cover is used over a clean car and the keys are stored separately from the vehicle.
On The Keep, the vehicle file is updated as the planned checks are done. The record is there so the condition of the car is not left to memory.

Can I use the vehicle during the storage term?
Yes. Access is arranged in advance by private appointment. Vehicles can leave for events, tours, service work or planned use and return to storage afterwards.
What does The Keep add?
The Keep adds TyreDox support, a drip tray, weekly conditioner and drip tray checks, monthly tyre pressure and visual fluid and leak checks, scheduled mechanical care, condition updates on request and vehicle file updates after scheduled care checks.
Is the vehicle insured while it is stored?
Equerry 55 facility cover is available up to fifty thousand pounds per vehicle, subject to policy terms, exclusions and the storage agreement. The owner keeps their own insurance on the vehicle for the whole storage term.
Do you store electric or hybrid vehicles?
Fully electric vehicles are not accepted under the current facility policy. Hybrids are. Most new supercars are hybrid, and performance and collector hybrids are accepted subject to review of the vehicle and the correct charging equipment supplied by the manufacturer being available. The charging procedure follows the manufacturer rather than one Equerry 55 rule, and it is agreed before the car arrives.
Can you collect a vehicle from Cardiff?
Yes. Collection and return delivery can be arranged from Cardiff and nearby areas. Transport is quoted separately based on the vehicle and what is needed.
How does the vehicle get to you?
You can bring the vehicle to the facility by private appointment, or collection and return delivery can be arranged. Covered transport can also be arranged where required or preferred and is quoted separately.
