Keys held away from the cars
Keys are not left in the car, on the car or beside it. They are held separately, which matters most for anything with keyless entry.

Condition photographs, mileage, tyre pressures and fluid levels are all recorded at check in. The state the car arrived in is documented, not remembered.
The security is the same on both plans. The Stable and The Keep share the same gate, the same building and the same record keeping. What The Keep adds is the scheduled checks and the mechanical care, not a better lock.

Can I visit the car or take it out?
Yes. Access is booked in advance by private appointment. Owners who want the car in summer and stored through winter usually book the return delivery when they book the storage.
Does the car need to be running and road legal?
No. A car can be stored without MOT or tax by prior agreement, and non runners can be accepted on covered transport. The car cannot be used on public roads until it is legal to do so.
Do you start the engine while the car is stored?
On The Keep, the engine is run up to operating temperature every sixty days and brake binding is checked at the same time. On The Stable the car is kept, monitored and protected, without scheduled running.
