Ferrari Storage
Specialist storage for modern, hybrid and classic Ferraris. Equerry 55 provides private indoor Ferrari storage in Essex for owners across London and the UK, with humidity management, battery conditioning and a documented check in, collection and delivery available and monthly plans from £250 plus VAT.

Ferrari Storage built around a higher standard
Equerry 55 was not created to fill another building with cars. It was created around one question: what should an owner be able to expect once the keys are handed over?
A Ferrari is built to be driven. Standing still is where the quiet damage starts. Batteries drain, tyres flatten, seals dry out and damp air settles where nobody looks. Proper Ferrari Storage should protect the car between drives, not just park it.
A modern Ferrari is a complex system of engines, electronics and advanced materials. A classic Ferrari brings original parts and period finishes that are hard to replace. Neither should be treated as an ordinary car in storage.
Equerry 55 was built from years of owning, driving and restoring cars. That experience shaped the standard inside the facility: clear rules, clear responsibility and no ambiguity about who is looking after the car.
The ambition is simple: to become the name owners trust when the car matters too much to leave somewhere ordinary.
Controlled conditions. Documented care.
The condition of a stored Ferrari comes down to three things: the environment, the car’s mechanical state and the care it gets while it stands.
At Equerry 55, humidity is targeted at 55 percent relative humidity. That limits the damp air that drives corrosion and damages leather, rubber and trim. Through winter, the facility is held around 10 to 12°C, far steadier than open parking or an unheated garage.
Battery conditioning is connected from day one. Plug-in hybrid Ferraris are stored with the manufacturer’s charging equipment.
Before storage begins, every Ferrari is checked in. Condition photos, mileage, tyre pressures and fluid levels are recorded, so there is a clear record of the car on arrival.
What your Ferrari gets while it is stored
Every Ferrari gets the same main level of indoor care from the day it arrives.
- Secure indoor car storage
- Humidity targeted at 55% relative humidity
- Winter temperature kept around 10 to 12°C
- Battery conditioning
- Breathable indoor car cover
- Condition photos taken at check in
- Mileage recorded at check in
- Tyre pressures recorded at check in
- Fluid levels checked at check in
- Keys kept away from the car
Ferrari Storage for the things that go wrong when a car sits
Battery and electronics
Modern Ferraris carry many control units, sensors and security systems. Some keep drawing power when the car is parked. Left alone, the battery can drain and deteriorate. Battery conditioning is connected from arrival and included on both plans.
Tyres
Ferrari performance tyres are built for huge cornering and braking loads. Standing still, the weight sits on one small patch, which can cause flat spots. On The Keep, TyreDox support and monthly tyre pressure checks help reduce that risk.
Fluids and seals
A parked engine stops circulating oil through bearings and seals. Over time, fuel ages and seals dry. On The Keep, fluids are checked monthly and the engine is run to operating temperature every sixty days.
Hybrid Ferraris
The 296 combines a V6 with an electric motor and a high voltage battery. The SF90 uses a V8 with three electric motors. Both are accepted with the manufacturer’s charging equipment. Fully electric vehicles are not accepted.
Classic Ferraris
Older Ferraris combine steel, aluminium, leather, chrome and original electrics. Damp air attacks metal joints, terminals and finishes first. Controlled humidity protects originality without unnecessary work on the car.
Paint and interior
Steel, aluminium and carbon fibre panels, fine paint and leather all need careful indoor protection. A breathable cover keeps dust off without trapping moisture against the paint.

“In the beginning I looked around and could not find quite the car I dreamed of, so I decided to build it myself.”
Same reason this exists. Nowhere kept cars the way we wanted our own kept, so we built it.

Ferrari Storage across generations of engineering
A naturally aspirated V8, a front engined V12 and a plug-in hybrid may share the badge, but their needs in storage are not the same.
The 458 Italia’s 4.5 litre naturally aspirated V8 belongs to a different generation from the turbocharged engines of the 488 GTB and F8 Tributo. The 812 Superfast uses a 6.5 litre V12 producing 800 cv. The 296 GTB produces 830 cv from its V6 hybrid powertrain, and the SF90 Stradale delivers 1,000 cv from its V8 and three electric motors.
Classic Ferraris bring their own priorities: originality, period materials and documented condition.
Every Ferrari is stored in the same controlled indoor environment, whatever its age. It does not need to be rare to be stored properly. If the car matters to you, it is worth looking after.

“Small things make perfection, but perfection is no small thing.”
Batteries sulphate. Tyres flat-spot. Fluids draw water and brakes bind. None of it is dramatic and all of it is expensive.
Ferrari Storage should end as well as it starts
The day a Ferrari leaves storage matters as much as the day it arrives. The question is not only whether it was kept safe, but whether it is ready to drive.
Before collection, you can arrange any work the car needs, such as servicing, an MOT, detailing or tyres, so it comes back ready rather than starting a new list of jobs.
For cars on The Keep, care continues throughout the stay: weekly battery conditioner and drip tray checks, monthly tyre pressure and fluid checks, and an engine run to operating temperature every sixty days.
